Milton Home Hardware is a dealer-owned
& operated business located at the
western edge of the GTA (Greater
Toronto Area). The store, originally
located on Main St. in downtown Milton, was founded as McKim
Hardware in 1948.
In 1964, McKim Hardware became one of the founding 128 members
of
the newly-formed alliance "Home Hardware". In 1972,
the store moved to its
current 20,000 sq ft., 2 1/2 acre location. In 2001, it was
sold to
owner/dealer Angelo Demedicis. With a focus on great products
and complete
customer service backed with friendly, professional staff, the
store was honoured
with two major awards in 2005 - the Home Hardware "Store
of the Year",
and Hardware Merchandising Magazine's "Outstanding Retailer".
